Eligibility/Qualification:
- BSc in Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, or related fields.
- Official MSc in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Data Science, Artificial Intelligence in Health, Statistics/Biostatistics with a biomedical focus, or Biomedical Engineering with a data analysis/AI track.
- Must qualify for access to a PhD program in Spain.
- Practical proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) or R (tidyverse, caret, tidymodels).
Job Description:
The selected candidate will:
- Curate and analyze clinical data and Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).
- Develop and validate Machine Learning/Deep Learning models for surgical risk and planning.
- Collaborate on the creation of digital clinical support tools.
- Optionally gain experience in experimental surgeries and molecular diagnostics.
