Eligibility/Qualification
Candidates must have:
- A master’s degree in experimental physics, micro/nanotechnology, photonics, or similar.
- Solid background in experimental physics, optics, and photonics.
- Hands-on experience in optical or photonic laboratories.
- Excellent command of English (oral and written).
- Good management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Practical experience with optical waveguides.
- Familiarity with commercial simulation software (e.g., Lumerical, RSoft, COMSOL).
- Experience with gas sensing and IR spectroscopy.

Description
The successful candidate will join a research team renowned for developing cutting-edge on-chip sensors in the realm of mid-IR and Raman spectroscopy, delivering high performance in a compact form. This position involves designing, fabricating, and optimizing waveguide sensors, integrating them with light sources and detectors, and testing prototypes for trace gas spectroscopy.
