Description
Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting the supporting tissues of teeth, commonly leading to systemic health issues. Current treatment methods are often temporary, focusing on dental plaque removal with antibiotics. This PhD project aims to explore:
- Electrospinning techniques for formulation development.
- In silico microbiome design via systems biology.
- In vitro validation within advanced biofilm reactor systems.
