EducationMaster’s degree in Physics or Material Science, or equivalent

Preferred ExperienceProgramming and numerical simulations; knowledge of machine learning and electronic structure calculations is advantageous

Job Description

The PhD student will:

  • Focus on simulations of materials exhibiting neuromorphic behavior.
  • Develop and apply advanced computational methods.
  • Predict new materials and geometries for energy-efficient neuromorphic computing.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary research initiative involving collaborations between Uppsala University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Örebro University.
  • Engage in method development using machine-learning algorithms for scalable simulations.
