PhD in Security & Privacy: An exciting opportunity for a full-time assistant position is available at the Faculty of Computer Science. This role encompasses teaching, research, and service activities within the faculty. The selected candidate will be involved in practical work at both bachelor’s and master’s levels in various fields of computer science. Additionally, they will join a new research team led by Prof. Florentin Rochet, focusing on privacy protection and the development of computer tools.

Study Area:
The scholarship is dedicated to the field of computer science, particularly focusing on privacy protection and the development of computer tools.

Scholarship Description: The selected candidate will engage in teaching practical courses, conducting research, and providing service to the Faculty of Computer Science. They will work closely with Prof. Florentin Rochet on a research project leading to a Ph.D. thesis. The research will revolve around privacy protection, with potential applications in network security and systems development.

Eligibility: Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with strong computer science knowledge. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate an interest in teaching and research, proficiency in French and English languages, familiarity with open-source technologies, and experience with at least one system language (such as Rust, C/C++, Go).
