Location: University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in relevant fields (e.g., ecology, biology, agriculture, sustainability science, geography, environmental sciences, agricultural economics).
- Strong knowledge of ecological statistics (R programming).
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to field sites in India, Kenya, Mexico, and Germany.
- Experience in entomology, ornithology, GIS, socio-economic analysis, or ecophysiological measurement techniques is desirable.
- Driving license (Class B) required for fieldwork.
Job Description:
- Conduct field studies on biodiversity, ecosystem services, and socio-economic outcomes in agriculture.
- Analyze empirical and secondary data to identify successful sustainable agricultural systems (Bright Spots).
- Organize and lead stakeholder discussions and focus groups.
- Collaborate interdisciplinarily with project partners.
- Publish findings in scientific journals and present research at conferences.
