Project Summary

Specifically, the research will focus on neurodevelopmental deficits in inborn errors of immunity, using APDS (Activated PI3K delta syndrome) as a primary disease model. The project uniquely combines patient-centered clinical work with pre-clinical molecular and behavioral experiments in mouse models.

Job Description
As a PhD candidate for the IMBRAIN project, you will bridge the gap between immunology, neuroscience, and psychology. Your responsibilities will include:
- Clinical Research: Conducting patient interviews and testing.
- Pre-clinical Research: Performing molecular and behavioral experiments using mouse models.
- Collaboration: Working within a highly collaborative network, including opportunities to utilize state-of-the-art facilities at UMC and the NIN.
