Eligibility/Qualification–

Assistant Professor Grade II

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree.
• Excellent academic record throughout.
• Position is contractual.
• Maximum age: 32 years.

Assistant Professor Grade I

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial, research, or teaching experience after Ph.D. (excluding Ph.D. duration).
• Excellent academic record throughout.
• Maximum age: 35 years.

Additional Criteria for School of Innovation

• Candidates without Ph.D. may apply subject to experience requirements:
  • Grade II: Minimum 5 years of teaching/research/professional experience.
  • Grade I: Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/professional experience and must complete Ph.D. within 5 years of joining.

Job/Position Description-

Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) has announced faculty recruitment for Assistant Professor Grade I and Assistant Professor Grade II positions across multiple departments and schools. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) possessing excellent academic and research credentials in the specified areas of specialization.
