Job Description:
The selected candidate will join a dynamic research team to design and develop an innovative electroenzymatic biosensor for hydrogen (H₂) detection using Ni-Fe hydrogenase from Aquifex aeolicus. Key objectives include optimizing enzyme immobilization for H₂ catalysis, enhancing bioelectrode stability, addressing hydrogen transport limitations, and refining biosensor geometry and miniaturization for enhanced performance. This research aims to expand the understanding of enzymatic behavior in confined spaces, supporting sustainable energy applications such as enzymatic fuel cells.
