Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates should possess an excellent master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline. A strong interest in researching electrochemical systems is crucial, with desirable experience in areas such as electrochemistry, thin films, polymers, or catalysis. The successful applicant should be highly motivated to pursue a Ph.D. within three years, demonstrating initiative, independence, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
Description: The selected candidate will join the electrocatalytic interface engineering department led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Simon Thiele. Responsibilities include manufacturing catalyst layers and membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) for electrochemical characterization, conducting physical, spectroscopic, and electrochemical analysis of MEAs, participating in project meetings, and coordinating with internal and external partners. The role also involves publishing and presenting research results in relevant journals and international conferences.
