Scholarship/Position Description As a Doctoral Researcher, you will work in an excellent interdisciplinary research environment with leading scientists and gain access to state-of-the-art low-field MRI and commercial MRI systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research on novel RF and EMC concepts (e.g., RF coil architectures, transmit/receive strategies, and shielding approaches) to improve Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and robustness against electromagnetic interference.
- Developing and prototyping MRI electronics subsystems through simulation and experimental validation, including components like TR-switches, dynamic RF retuning circuits, and receiver electronics.
- Integrating the newly developed subsystems into LF-MRI scanners to translate hardware innovations into enhanced medical imaging performance.
