Eligibility/Qualification– Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
– Solid grounding in machine learning, computer vision, signal processing, or information theory
– Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX)
– Strong programming skills and analytical rigor
– Excellent proficiency in English
– Prior work in cooperative perception, generative AI, or compression algorithms (preferred)

Job Description:

As a doctoral researcher, your work will involve creating a novel framework for cooperative perception within the scope of autonomous vehicles. You will focus on urgent issues in AI, including:

  • Generative Diffusion & 3D/4D Scene Synthesis: Evolving diffusion and NeRF-style models for multi-agent joint scene reconstruction.
  • Semantic-Aware Compression & Network Information Theory: Developing new rate-distortion-reliability bounds and adaptive codecs for efficient data sharing with a priority on safety.
  • Real-World Validation: Testing and benchmarking algorithms on autonomous vehicles, mobile robots, and UAV testbeds.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Publishing research in leading conferences and journals (CVPR, NeurIPS, etc.).
  • Collaborating with European labs and industry partners.
  • Mentoring Master’s students and assisting in graduate-level teaching.
