Eligibility/Qualification

CriteriaRequirements
Education LevelMaster’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanoscience, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry or related fields.
Doctoral StatusApplicants must be doctoral candidates, not already possess a doctoral degree.
Mobility RuleResearchers must not have resided in the recruiting country for more than 12 months in the last 36 months.
Skills/QualificationsExperience in organic chemistry/nanomaterial synthesis; familiarity with physicochemical characterization techniques; proficiency in English.

Job Description

The PhD candidate will engage in the following activities:

  • Design, synthesis, and functionalization of carbon dots (C-dots).
  • Develop advanced sensing and imaging capabilities.
  • Integrate C-dot systems into 3D biomaterials.
  • Gain expertise in nanoparticle synthesis, advanced optical characterization, and biological evaluation.
  • Collaborate with international research groups and contribute to a multidisciplinary training environment.
