Eligibility/Qualification

  • Medical doctor (MD) degree with emphasis in cardiology, nephrology, or endocrinology.
  • Passion for improving patient care and understanding data-driven approaches.
  • Eagerness to learn causal inference techniques and data science methods (coding experience is a plus).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in an international, multidisciplinary team.

Description

As a PhD candidate, you will:

  • Investigate the effectiveness and safety of novel treatments for cardio-kidney-metabolic diseases such as heart failure, type 2 diabetes, and chronic kidney disease.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to apply advanced causal inference techniques to large healthcare datasets.
  • Present findings at international conferences and publish in high-impact journals.
  • Work closely with leading researchers globally and have opportunities for international collaboration.
