PhD Position in Cognitive Science: Learning Cues for Cognitive Control

Location: Department of Experimental Psychology, Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium
Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant fields such as Cognitive (Neuro)Science, Psychology, or related disciplines. Individuals from underrepresented groups are highly encouraged to apply. Strong interest in cognitive science, modeling, data analysis, and computer programming is required.
Description: The CoCoFlex lab is seeking a PhD student to contribute to an FWO project on learning and cognitive control. The project involves developing and testing experimental paradigms and computational models to study hierarchical learning of cognitive control parameters in a multi-learning environment. The main focus will be on learning and training cues for control. While expertise in computational modeling is not required, a strong interest in cognitive science and related areas is essential.
