Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master of Science in Engineering (Technology), preferably in Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge in electric machines, power electronics, and control systems
  • Passion for academic research and experimental methodologies
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Motivated and creative with an interest in multidisciplinary research

Description

The PhD candidate will contribute to the AlExci project, focusing on reducing critical material usage in electric motors. The position involves:

  • Developing models for windings of electric motors.
  • Investigating modifications to motor designs for enhanced robustness.
  • Significant experimental work through prototyping and testing of concepts for sustainable windings.
  • Collaboration with industry partners in electric machine design and manufacturing.
