Research Area: Resilience, Decision-Making, Participatory Workshops, Multiscale Infrastructure Systems, Systems-Thinking, Complexity, Social-Ecological-Technological Systems (SETS) Perspectives.

Location: School of Environmental, Civil, Agricultural and Mechanical Engineering, University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, USA.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, sustainable engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in resilience, decision-making, and participatory workshops.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
  • Capability to engage in interdisciplinary research extending beyond traditional engineering boundaries.

Job Description:

  • Contribute to the development of a national framework of resilience for Qatar.
  • Collaborate with a larger research team at the University of Georgia and Texas A&M at Qatar.
