Eligibility/Qualification:
Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. Strong programming skills in deep learning and scientific computing (e.g., Python, NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) are essential. Additional qualifications include:

  • Solid background in Computational Imaging, Image Restoration, Variational Methods in Imaging, and Bayesian Methods for Inverse Problems.
  • Proficiency in English or French (both written and spoken).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:
The selected PhD candidate will engage in advanced research to improve current methodologies in blind image and video deblurring. The project involves exploring diffusion models, latent space acceleration, spatially varying blur, and joint blur-prediction/deblurring architectures. The research will also include developing self-supervised training methods to enhance model performance in diverse and challenging conditions. The candidate will collaborate with an international team, contributing to both academic and industrial advancements in image restoration technologies.
