Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, or a related discipline (candidates nearing completion may apply).
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in R and/or Stata.
- Interest in working with large-scale secondary datasets and longitudinal data analysis.
- Excellent academic record, particularly in statistics and quantitative methods.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is not required.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Contribute to data assembly and harmonization over the first 12-18 months.
- Merge harmonized data with country-year indicators and assess data quality.
- Develop reproducible workflows (e.g., R scripts) and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project supervisors, postdoctoral researchers, and student assistants.
- Develop a doctoral thesis and publish scientific findings based on the global dataset.
- Present findings at international conferences.
- Engage in the academic community at the LIVES Centre.
