Description

This PhD research project will investigate the dynamic interactions between plants, bacteria, and bacteriophages. Key tasks will include:

  • Conducting microbiological experiments to isolate and characterize phages.
  • Developing phage application strategies.
  • Performing plant phenotyping both in laboratory and greenhouse settings.
  • Utilizing next-generation sequencing (NGS) for comprehensive analysis.

The PhD candidate will work under two leading researchers, Prof. Julia Frunzke and Dr. Borjana Arsova, in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.
