Eligibility/Qualification

• General Requirements:
• Completed degree at advanced level (minimum 240 ECTS credits including at least 60 ECTS at advanced level)
• Alternatively, equivalent knowledge through experience.
• Specific Requirements:
• Minimum 90 ECTS in Biology or related fields (e.g., Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science/Bioinformatics)
• At least 15 ECTS in relevant subjects and 15 ECTS from an individual project course.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Job Description

The PhD student will:

• Develop and implement experimental approaches for validating regulatory elements.
• Perform molecular biology experiments, including nucleic acid extraction and sequencing.
• Generate, process, and interpret genome-wide datasets.
• Integrate experimental results with computational analyses.
• Establish reproducible workflows for both experimental and analytical tasks.
• Engage in scientific communication through presentations and publications.
