Eligibility/Qualification:

Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will lead a new, experimentally-driven research project funded by the Leverhulme Trust. The goal is to create alternative catalytic mechanisms using Lewis acids with redox-active scaffolds, enhancing the understanding of “umpolung” transformations. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and synthesizing main group Lewis acids.
- Investigating new catalytic mechanisms.
- Coordinating research with external collaborators.
- Assisting in managing the Scott research group, including co-supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Publishing findings in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
