Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s level degree in chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or a related field.

  • Experience in laboratory work and characterization techniques is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Job Description

As a PhD student, you will:

  • Engage in polymer synthesis and modification of wood-derived polymers.
  • Develop new materials concepts through macromolecular design.
  • Explore structure-property relationships in bio-based materials.
  • Utilize advanced characterization techniques (NMR, GPC/SEC, mass spectrometry, thermal analysis, mechanical testing).

You will work in an interdisciplinary team, contributing to the development of next-generation bio-based materials.
