Eligibility / Qualification

  • Education: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related field.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Solid understanding of spectroscopy, chemometrics, statistics, or machine learning.
    • Laboratory experience and interest in process analytics and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex datasets.
  • Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and strong motivation to work in a cross-disciplinary, industry-academia collaborative environment.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Conduct applied research on Raman spectroscopy, chemometrics, and data-driven modeling for parenteral aqueous drug products.
  • Develop and validate new methodologies for generating augmented process data through simulations.
  • Work with both experimental and simulated data in real pharmaceutical production environments.
  • Publish scientific results in reputable journals and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing across Novo Nordisk and DTU.
  • Collaborate closely with academic supervisors at DTU and industry experts in the Process Analytics and Modelling department at Novo Nordisk.
