Eligibility/Qualification
- Very good university degree (Master) in chemical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, material science, or a comparable discipline.
- Knowledge of hydrogen and energy research is an advantage.
- High motivation to complete the doctorate within 3 years.
- Very good organizational skills.
- Ability to show initiative and work independently.
- Excellent cooperation and communication skills, with a strong ability to work within a team.
- Proficient in written and spoken German and English.
Description
The selected candidate will engage in the following activities:
- Synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles with a superparamagnetic core.
- Functionalization of surfaces to optimize catalytic properties.
- Investigation of dehydrogenation of chemical hydrogen carriers (LOHC).
- Exploration of additional applications in energy, environmental technology, and the chemical industry.
- Development of targeted control methods for nanoparticles using magnetic fields.
- Participation in project meetings and coordination with project partners.
- Publication and presentation of research findings in relevant journals and conferences.
- Contribution to the establishment of the institute.
