Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in one of the following: Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Physics (must be completed by 1 July 2025).
  • Excellent academic record, with a strong command of the English language.
  • Strong scientific motivation and interest in interdisciplinary research.

Job Description

As a PhD candidate, you will:

  • Develop a research project aligned with one of the three core research areas of MCML.
  • Contribute to pioneering research in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Collaborate with a network of scholars and receive extensive support for innovative research projects.
  • Benefit from a flexible work schedule and the vibrant academic resources of LMU and TUM.
