Eligibility/Qualification
- For PhD1: Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry
- For PhD2: Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or Catalysis
- A motivated and committed researcher ready to engage in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary development
- Professional command of English
- Experience in chemical synthesis, catalysis, and analysis (NMR, GC/LC-MS, DSC, GPC) is preferred
Job Description
- Conduct independent research in Industrial Sustainable Chemistry, leading to patents and publications
- Develop an understanding of bio-based monomers and their applications in polyester synthesis
- Explore polyester depolymerization and chemical recycling processes
- Collaborate on biodegradability studies and assessment of novel polyesters
- Teach practical courses and supervise student theses
