Eligibility/Qualification:
- Two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experimental qualifications in fiber optics and fiber lasers
- Documentation of a proactive approach to building and developing experimental setups
Job Description: The PhD study will concentrate on developing beamlines 2-3, focusing on coherent ANDi supercontinuum generation pumped with ultra-short femtosecond fiber lasers. Responsibilities include developing femtosecond pump lasers, supercontinuum sources, and implementing these sources in spectroscopy and OCT systems. The candidate will be part of a collaborative team working on cutting-edge applications within imaging and trace gas detection.
