Location: University of Angers, France (with travel for research secondments)
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Materials Science
- Experience with experimental research
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Strong motivation and ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary and international team
Description: As a PhD student in the EIFFEL project, you will:
- Conduct organic synthesis of novel solar cell absorber materials suitable for vacuum processing
- Utilize analytical methods to characterize synthesis outcomes, including NMR, HPLC-MS, GC-MS, DSC, TGA, and optical spectroscopy
- Learn about vacuum deposition of organic photovoltaics (OPV) and solar cell characterization
- Participate in research secondments, specialized training meetings, and international conferences
This full-time position is offered for a maximum of 36 months with an attractive salary package according to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) rules. Travel abroad for research secondments and participation in specialized training and conferences is expected.
