Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completion of second-cycle studies or equivalent, with at least 240 ECTS credits (60 ECTS at the second-cycle level).
  • Specific entry requirements include at least 90 ECTS credits in computational science and engineering courses (30 at second-cycle level).
  • Knowledge in physics, numerical methods, applied mathematics, and parallel programming.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (C/C++, Python, Matlab) and parallel programming libraries (OpenMP, MPI).
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Fluency in English.

Job Description

The PhD student will focus on developing novel algorithms, data structures, and software for tensor network computations. This interdisciplinary research involves applications in physics, high-performance computing, numerical linear algebra, and tensor computations.
