Scholarship Description
The PhD scholarship covers:

All items are covered for up to 36 months based on satisfactory progression. Additionally, successful candidates can carry out teaching or research assistant duties at UNNC from the second year of their PhD programs, after completing Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) training.
The PhD program structure involves 3 years of research followed by a 1-year thesis pending period. Full-time PhD students are expected to submit their theses within four years from initial registration. Upon successful completion, students are awarded a PhD degree from the University of Nottingham, recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the UK Quality Assurance Agency.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree with a minimum average score of 65% and degree classification of Merit or above from a British university.
- Bachelor’s degree at the upper second class or above level.
- Equivalent performance from other prestigious institutions.
- English language proficiency: IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in all elements) or its equivalent.
