Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, or equivalent.
- Knowledge and Professional Experience:
- Essential:
- Basic usage of physicochemical and materials characterization tools (e.g., Raman, AFM, DLS, spectrophotometry, XPS, HPLC).
- Skills in 2D materials synthesis and biocompatibility studies.
- Desirable:
- Experience in the chemical synthesis and modification of 2D nanomaterials, including graphene.
- Hands-on research experience in biological investigations involving nanomaterials.
Job Description
The PhD candidate will engage in laboratory-based experimental work, focusing on:
- Synthesis and fabrication of 2D nanomaterials and their therapeutic complexes.
- Conducting biophysical studies utilizing ex vivo, in vitro, and in vivo models.
- Utilizing various characterization techniques and core facilities in collaboration with international institutions.
- Contributing to literature evaluations and maintaining consistent communication with the research team.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Development of innovative therapeutic strategies using 2D materials.
- Evaluation of material-bio interactions.
- Participation in research meetings and presentations.
