Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in biology, ecology, engineering, environmental science, information technology, mathematics, or physics; or equivalent knowledge comprising at least 240 credits (60 of which must be in advanced courses in relevant fields).
- Strong quantitative skills and willingness to learn.
- Programming skills, preferably in R and C++ (or willingness to learn).
- Fluency in English (Swedish is not required).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Job Description
As a PhD student, you will focus on:
- Conducting mathematical analyses of ecological and eco-evolutionary models.
- Executing computer simulations for complex models.
- Drafting research results for publication in reputable international journals.
- Potentially participating in teaching or other departmental duties (up to 20% of full-time).
