Eligibility/Qualifications:
- MSc degree in biology, biochemistry, or related field
- Strong knowledge in molecular biology, biochemistry, or neuroscience
- Understanding of cellular proteostasis mechanisms
- Hands-on experience in molecular or cell biology, and fluorescent microscopy
- Previous work with human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived neurons is advantageous
- Interest in cellular proteostasis and neurodegeneration
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to learn, work independently, and think analytically
- Good interpersonal skills and collaborative attitude
Job Description:
As a PhD student, responsibilities include conducting experiments using cellular models, analyzing protein trafficking with mass spectrometry, utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 for gene expression modifications, employing molecular and biochemical techniques, collaborating with team members, literature research, contributing to publications, and participating in lab meetings and activities.
