  • Experience in designing and developing bioinformatics pipelines
  • Knowledge of natural products biosynthesis and evolutionary microbiology
  • Ability to perform microbiological cultures, plant-based experiments, and genomic/metabolomic analyses
  • Big data analysis skills and interest in emerging technologies
  • Strong communication skills for both specialized audiences and the public
  • Interest in plant-microbe symbiosis and science communication

Job Description

  • Develop innovative research to understand the specialized metabolism in symbiotic cyanobacteria
  • Explore evolutionary hypotheses related to Cyanobacteria and their microbiome on cycad coralloid roots
  • Participate in collaborative and international research teams
  • Engage in scientific research, conservation biology, and teaching in multi-scale omics
  • Communicate the societal impact of natural products
