Eligibility/Qualification
Required Qualifications:
- A PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the specified research areas (motion planning, control, human-robot interaction, robot learning, reinforcement learning, computational intelligence).
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, C++).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- A strong publication record commensurate with experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with robotic platforms and real-world experiments.
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar robotics frameworks.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for conducting independent and collaborative research within the Intelligent Systems and Robotics Section. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing novel algorithms and methodologies in motion planning, control, and human-robot interaction.
- Designing and conducting experiments using robotic platforms.
- Publishing research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Contributing to grant applications and project proposals.
- Supervising PhD and MSc students.
- Participating in teaching activities related to robotics and intelligent systems.
- Collaborating with national and international research partners.
