Eligibility/Qualification

| Education | PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Organic Chemistry, or a related discipline |
| Experience | Demonstrated expertise in polymer design, synthesis, and characterization techniques such as NMR, FTIR, Raman, GPC, DSC, TGA. |
| Hands-on Experience | Preferably in polymer synthesis including step-growth polymerizations. |
| Other Skills | Understanding of polymerization-structure-property relationships; familiarity with surface science and polymer rheology is a plus. |
Job Description
- Plan and execute application-focused research to advance the understanding of high-value polymers.
- Design, synthesize, and characterize polymers at the lab scale.
- Establish relationships between polymerization processes, structure, material properties, and performance.
- Validate scalability of polymerization recipes and establish specifications for monomer and solvent purity.
- Develop new concepts for monomer selection and polymerization processes.
- Document and present findings through technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with external partners and development teams to translate lab concepts into scalable, commercially viable polymer synthesis processes.
