POST-DOC Positions – Food Chemistry Lab: The Food Chemistry Lab at NC State University, under the leadership of Principal Investigator Dr. Haotian Zheng, is seeking self-motivated and multitasking Research Associates (RAs) who have demonstrated academic excellence in relevant disciplines. The lab is well-equipped and focused on food ingredient functionality, including areas like texture analysis, particle size analysis, foam analysis, and more. We are recruiting qualified RAs with degrees ranging from MS, PhD, to Post-Doc. The lab offers tuition support, stipend/salary, and health insurance to qualified graduate students, adhering to the University’s Graduate Student Support Plan (GSSP).

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Degrees: MS, PhD, or Post-Doc
- Strong background in areas such as food chemistry, bioprocessing, nutrition sciences, or related fields
- Ability to independently undertake assigned research tasks
- Familiarity with relevant research equipment and techniques
Job Description: As an RA in our lab, you will:
- Undertake assigned research independently.
- Contribute to ongoing projects related to food ingredient functionality.
- Utilize advanced equipment and techniques for analysis.
- Collaborate with research sponsors including USDA MIFA, USOA AKS, and more.
- Engage in protein concentrate/isolate research for high protein foods.
