Research Area

The focus of this position is on cell biological processes of signaling, metabolic wiring, and organelle homeostasis in the context of cancer immunity.

Eligibility/Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD in Cell Biology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Strong publication record and evidence of scientific creativity and productivity.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in related research areas.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will investigate how various processes affect immune function in cancer. Current projects include:

  • ER architecture and organelle remodeling in immune cells.
  • Cellular stress responses and proteostasis in cancer.
  • Metabolic control of immune cell fate and function.
  • CAR-T cell biology and solid tumor immunotherapy.
  • Organelle communication and lipid metabolism.
  • Advanced imaging approaches to define immune cell state in tumors.

The successful candidate will integrate mechanistic cell biology with translational cancer research, utilizing various advanced techniques, including microscopy and CRISPR engineering.
