Job Description
This position involves exploring the processes underlying viral auto-assembly in vitro and its relation to intracellular replication. Key responsibilities include:
- Mimicking intracellular environments using purified virus components.
- Investigating the effects of concentrated solutions on viral protein interactions and assembly.
- Employing advanced experimental techniques such as solid-state NMR, synchrotron X-ray scattering, cryo-transmission electron microscopy, and super-resolution fluorescence microscopy.
- The research will be conducted on the Hepatitis B virus using a combination of theoretical analysis and computer simulations.
