Eligibility/Qualification:
- A successful PhD degree in biochemistry or a related field of life sciences
- Strong background in protein biochemistry and cell biology
- Previous experience in molecular virology is advantageous
- Proficiency in English, communication skills, teamwork attitude, and strong motivation
Job Description: The candidate will work in the Molecular Virology group, focusing on the development of a biosensor for early virus detection. The group operates in basic virus-host cell interaction research, early warning and epidemic intelligence, and antiviral development, collaborating extensively at an international level.
The position is for 24-36 months with a salary of 25-27.000 € per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
