Summary: Join Universidad Autónoma de Madrid as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Physics, focusing on the ERC SYG project TOMATTO. This role involves studying electronic transfer processes in donor-acceptor systems on an attosecond time scale.
Post-Doctoral Researcher – Theoretical Study of Attosecond Electronic and Nuclear Dynamics
Designation: Post-Doctoral Researcher (R1)
Research Area: Theoretical Study of Attosecond Electronic and Nuclear Dynamics in Molecular opto-electronics
Location: Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Madrid, Spain
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Education Level: PhD or equivalent in Physics
- Skills/Qualifications:
- Theoretical description of molecular ionization induced by femto- and attosecond pulses and electronic and nuclear dynamics.
- Proficiency in computational methods for describing excited states in molecules (e.g., MOLPRO, MOLCAS) and programming (Fortran/C/Python).
- Previous experience in theoretical descriptions of experiments.
Job Description: You will collaborate with the SyG team to develop and implement methodologies for studying electronic transfer processes within the TOMATTO project. This involves working on the ultimate timescale in organic molecular opto-electronics at the attosecond level.
