Out of above experience, five years should be in Managerial Research position viz., Pl or Co-Pl of Scientific studies.
2.	Director ICMR- National Institute of Pathology (NIP), New Delhi	i) MD/MS/DNB or equivalent degree* recognized by MCI/NMC OR First Class Master’s degree with Ph.D from a recognized University in the following subjects: (i) Biochemistry (ii) Genetics/ Medical Genetics (iii) Immunology (iv) Molecular Biology (v) Biotechnology ii) 16 years R&D experience in the areas mentioned above from a recognized institute, (preferably 5 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects independently) including 2 years regular service in the Pay matrix level-13-A or equivalence as per DoPT guidelines as amended from time to time**. Director ICMR-National Animals Resource Facility for Biomedical Research(NARFBR), Hyderabad	i) First Class Master’s degree with Ph.D. in Veterinary Science from a recognized University ii) 16 years R&D experience in the area of Veterinary Science from a recognized institute, (preferably 5 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects independently) including 2 years regular service in the Pay matrix level-13-A or equivalence as per DoPT guidelines as amended from time to time**. Out of above experience, five years should be in Managerial Research position viz., Pl or Co-Pl of Scientific studies.
4.	Director National Jalma Institute for Leprosy & other Mycobacterial Diseases(NJILOMD), Agra	i) MD/MS/DNB or equivalent degree* recognized by MCI/NMC OR First Class Master’s degree with Ph.D from a recognized University in the following subjects: (i) Biochemistry (ii) Immunology (iii) Microbiology (iv) Molecular Biology (v) Pharmacology (vi) Biotechnology ii) 16 years R&D experience in the areas mentioned above from a recognized institute, (preferably 5 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects independently) including 2 years regular service in the Pay matrix level-13-A or equivalence as per DoPT guidelines as amended from time to time**. Director National Institute for Implementation Research on Non-Communicable Diseases, Jodhpur (formerly known as Desert Medicine Research Centre (DMRC), Jodhpur)	i) MD/MS/DNB or equivalent degree* recognized by MCI/NMC OR First Class Master’s degree with Ph.D from a recognized University in the following subjects: (i) Biochemistry (ii) Economics with specialization in Health Economics (iii) Biology/ Bioscience (iv) Genetics/ Medical Genetics (v) Immunology (vi) Molecular Biology (vii) Pharmacology (viii) Biotechnology (ix) Bioinformatics (x) Biostatistics/ Statistics ii) 16 years R&D experience in the areas mentioned above from a recognized institute, (preferably 5 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects independently) including 2 years regular service in the Pay matrix level-13-A or equivalence as per DoPT guidelines as amended from time to time**. Out of above experience, five years should be in Managerial Research position viz., Pl or Co-Pl of Scientific studies.

Age limit: Upper age limit is 58 years. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be as per the guidelines of Department of Personnel and Training issued from time to time. However, the prescribed age may be relaxed in exceptional cases for experienced and qualified candidates by DG, ICMR.

Job/Position Description-

ICMR invites online applications, from Indian Citizens, up to 18th January 2021 till 5:30 PM to fill up the posts of Directors in the following Institutes, in Level 14 of Pay Matrix (Rs.1,44,200-2, 18,200) (7th CPC Scale) and usual allowances as admissible to ICMR employees for appointment on regular basis under Direct Recruitment with all India transfer liability under the Council.

Duration of the contract: The initial appointment will be for a duration of 5 years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier. A second term for maximum of 5 years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier may be considered by a review committee, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as per Recruitment Rules. During this tenure, if the incumbent is from ICMR, he/she will hold lien of his/her substantive post at ICMR.

Fee: Application Fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) is required. SC/ST /Women/PWD/EWS candidates are exempted from application fee. Application Fee is to be paid by candidates through online link given in the application form separately for each post.

Note:

a) Ph.D. will be considered as four years experience (irrespective of the duration taken to complete the degree).
b) MD/MS/DNB will be considered as three years experience.
