Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in computer science, physics, or a comparable domain
- Experience and affinity with software development, API-integration, quantum computing algorithms, and/or high-performance computing
- Strong initiative, teamwork, project management, and supervisory skills
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
Job Description:
Quantum Engineer or Postdoc in Hybrid Quantum Computing Algorithm Development, Netherlands
- Develop a Quantum Computing Gateway to interface between users, Quantum Inspire, and the Rydberg system
- Aid in the integration of the quantum computing platform and the conversion of scientific questions into quantum calculations
- Collaborate with the Eindhoven high-performance computing center (HPC) and other partners to ensure seamless functionality and information flow
- Contribute to the development of hybrid quantum algorithms for specific tasks, such as quantum chemistry problems
- Work closely with PhD candidates, fellow postdocs/quantum engineers, and the ultracold atom team at QT/e
- Collaborate with other research groups and institutions within the Eindhoven Hendrik Casimir Institute and the wider quantum research network in the Netherlands
- Conduct high-quality research and technological development in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment
