Postdoc in Quantum Circuits: Chalmers University of Technology is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to optimize the compilation of programs for quantum computers. Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will develop compilation methods for quantum circuits on noisy quantum hardware. Key responsibilities include:
- Optimizing quantum circuit compilation to enhance quantum computing performance
- Analyzing and implementing new compilation methods, including qubit mapping and gate optimization
- Using machine learning techniques to improve quantum circuit efficiency
- Collaborating with experimental physicists to test and refine developed methods
- Supervising PhD and master’s students working in related areas
