Job Description
The objective of this project is to develop innovative recycling technologies for plastics using mechanochemistry. Responsibilities include:
- Developing new chemical recycling technologies for polyolefins
- Investigating reactions in a shaking ball mill at elevated temperatures and under gas atmosphere
- Understanding the mechanisms of polymer chain cleavage
- Applying advanced spectroscopic and analytic techniques (e.g., EPR, SEC, Raman, IR, TGA)
- Collaborating with a diverse team of researchers and supervising junior team members
