Eligibility/Qualification
Essential:
- PhD in Biology, Biophysics, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in adult stem cell culture
- Strong interest in cell biology, biophysics, and engineering
Desirable:
- Experience with mammalian culture, ESCs, and iPSCs
- Knowledge of CRISPR, organoids, tissue engineering, and quantitative imaging
- Proficient communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Job Description
The project aims to engineer airway organoids to create scalable models that replicate in vivo airway tissue architecture and function. Responsibilities include:
- Advancing organoid culture conditions and methodologies
- Investigating airway regeneration and disease progression using quantitative imaging, multi-omics, and mechanical measurement techniques
- Collaborating closely with clinical researchers and contributing to the team’s overall objectives
