PostDoc Opportunity on Modeling and Simulation: The Low-Gravity Science and Technology Laboratory at the Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking highly qualified candidates for a PostDoc position in the field of ferrohydrodynamic modeling and simulation.

Job Description:
The new hire will study ferrohydrodynamic flows, specifically the stability of ferrofluid interfaces impacted by magnetic, gravitational, and capillary forces.The project is funded by the US government and involves leading a team of two Ph.D. students.
Key qualifications and responsibilities include:
- Strong background in the modeling and simulation of ferrohydrodynamic flows.
- Familiarity with magnetostatics and the modeling of permanent magnets and electromagnets.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lead a team of two Ph.D. students on a demanding research project.
- General background in computational fluid mechanics and ferrofluid experimentation is valued.
- Experience in the synthesis and characterization of ferrofluid solutions is valued but not required.
