Eligibility/Qualification
Requirements
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree (to be completed by the time of the employment decision).
- Documented expertise in using AI/ML approaches (neural networks).
- Experience in advanced image analysis (classification, quantitative analysis).
- Experience in supervising/co-supervising Master’s/PhD students.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary collaboration and teamwork.
- Evidence of independent work capability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years.
- Experience working with Cryo EM and lipid nanoparticles.
- Experience working with small-angle scattering.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Optimizing data collection parameters for automated analysis pipelines.
- Developing, optimizing, and implementing AI/ML workflows.
- Validating analysis through physico-chemical methods.
- Collaborating with experimental LNP PhD/PostDoc projects in the Barriga Lab.
- Contributing to teaching, supervision, and collaborative projects/grant writing as needed.
