Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completed Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Communication Engineering, or a related field (applications from candidates nearing completion are welcome, but employment begins post-degree).
  • Strong command of English.
  • Excellent analytical, programming (preferably in Python), and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of machine learning and AI, with a focus on bandits and reinforcement learning.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as Jax, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, is advantageous.

Job Description

  • Participate in academic research projects in the areas of reinforcement learning, interactive learning, and safety in AI.
  • Contribute to scientific articles and publications.
  • Present research at academic conferences.
  • Complete a dissertation within 12 months.
  • Engage in teaching responsibilities as defined by the collective agreement.
  • Supervise student projects and theses.
  • Assist in administrative duties related to research, teaching, and university administration.
